ARTAXERXES (2013)

Kljakovic Eklektik Company is a new project by keyboardist and composer Andrej Kljakovic. This new group continues the idea of multi-cultural group Voices Of Nature but this time is presented in a new edition that is carving out on new sonic territory.

 

Album Description

New album Artaxerxes represents a fresh and dynamic approach with a difference and also draws on the tradition of typical styles from the 60s and 70s. The music is scorching, alive with feeling and electricity with uncanny knack for making technology sound organic.

The album also blends world music elements with kinetic grooves and melodic abandon concocting synthesizer timbres and textures. The CD features 10 original compositions by Andrej Kljakovic and two covers, Syborg by Frank Zappa and Mirage by Jean Luc Ponty.
